“the night won’t end: biden’s war on gaza” / fault lines. 2024 [at ‘al jazeera english’]

As Israel’s bombing campaign continues in Gaza and the humanitarian crisis deepens to catastrophic levels, the Biden administration has not wavered in its support for Israel.

United States weapons transfers – from 2,000-pound bombs to artillery shells and tanks – have been a crucial part of the Israeli military campaign.

Fault Lines worked with journalists in Gaza to profile three families as they try to survive the war.

Together with Airwars, Fault Lines also investigated an air strike on December 11 in north Gaza in which more than 100 people from the same family were killed.

Numerous attacks on civilians – including that on Hind Rajab and her relatives in late January – have raised international concern and questions over continuing US support.

Fault Lines partnered with Forensic Architecture and Earshot to investigate that attack.

From air strikes to field executions, Fault Lines investigates the killings of civilians by the Israeli military in Gaza and the role of the United States in the war.

americans in jerusalem are helping kick out palestinians

8400 years wasted (in israel)

After 8400 years some Israeli people are still considering some HUMANS are not worth a grave, a mourn, and respect.

Look. This second image [see above] shows Israeli police attacking mourners at Al Jazeera journalist’s funeral, Shireen Abu Akleh, “who was shot dead whilst covering a raid. Police fired tear gas and attempted to arrest mourners as they carried her coffin through the streets of Jerusalem. At one point the Israeli forces attacked the pallbearers, causing the coffin to slip and nearly crash to the ground” (SkyNews, May 13th, 2022, https://youtu.be/be8x0MhCzu8 and  Guardian News, https://youtu.be/WHqytR_y0I8).

More. On Oct 6th, 2023, “Israeli occupation forces attacked the funeral procession of the young Palestinian Labeeb Dmaidi, 19 y.o., who was shot and killed late in the town of Huwara, south of Nablus at the hands of an Israeli colonist. Following the Friday noon prayers, Israeli military soldiers attacked thousands of mourners heading to the cemetery for burial. Forces attacked mourners with live ammunition, rubber-coated steel bullets, tear gas canisters, and stun grenades, leading to violent confrontations. Two Palestinians were shot and injured; one by a rubber-coated steel bullet in the Jaw area, and the other by live fire in the foot. Dozens of others suffocated due to tear gas inhalation. Forces also attacked journalists at the scene, attacking them with stun grenades and tear gas canisters to prevent media coverage” (WAFA News Agency, https://english.wafa.ps/Pages/Details/137946).

Also consider this third image [see above]. It seems like some Israelis would maybe prefer to mourn a dog’s death rather than that of Palestinian newborn babies. (https://slowforward.net/2023/11/30/5babies-found-dead/, Nov 30th, 2023).

Mohammed Zaqout insists that Israeli forces gave staff and patients at al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza the order to evacuate this morning.

“I categorically deny these false allegations [that evacuation was requested] … despite the difficult situation, the medical staff were working and operating … we were forced to leave at gunpoint,” he told Al Jazeera.

Moreover, Zaqout said that a list of critical patients has been handed to the Red Cross to be taken to Egypt for treatment, but that he is still awaiting updates on the issue.

Jihad Abu Shanab has described the scenes near the al-Ahli Arab Hospital, also known as Baptist Hospital, as “total destruction”.

Here are his translated comments:

The vicinity around the hospital has been levelled to the ground.
Dozens of dead bodies are scattered on the streets.
Many of the bodies have been changed beyond recognition.
People are trying to do everything to bury as many people possible.

In totale 22 persone.
